What a brilliant week we have had! If you managed to make it to our performance I'm sure you will agree that the children were brilliant! Thank you for your help and support with costumes, songs and line learning. I was very proud of all the children and their hard work! We have been busy with lots of Christmas problem solving this week and we have looked at more of our science work. We decided on suitable materials based on their properties to help the elves make their workshop. If you have any old newspapers at home, please could you bring them in for Monday? Thank you.

This week!
This week we have been learning all about shape in maths. We first looked at 2D shapes and labelled and compared them. Some of us also went on a shape hunt around the school and found lots of different shapes. We then looked at 3D shapes and described the properties of them by playing different guess the shape games. In PE we developed our throwing skills by aiming into a net. I was very impressed with how accurate everyones throwing was. We have still been practising writing our surnames. Maybe you could have a practise writing your full name at home?
